Maths in Stories

This group will work collaboratively with Special Schools and local Mainstream Primary Schools to identify mathematical content within stories.

This innovative approach is highly engaging and motivating for pupils particularly those with SEND

Participants will:

  • Develop schemes of work
  • Consider an assessment framework,
  • Develop linked resource boxes for each of the stories;
  • Share ideas for measuring the impact of this on pupils learning;
  • Share good/outstanding practice between schools;
  • Develop working partnerships
