Maths Education Research: A discussion group for practising teachers

Description
A work group which provides participants with the opportunity to discuss educational literature and consider how the findings can be put into practice.
These monthly work group sessions will give participants an opportunity to discuss both seminal texts and the most up-to-date research in maths education. The sessions will be applicable to both primary and secondary colleagues. There will be opportunity to present about topics which are of interest to you and occasional guest speakers who will talk about their own research or topics which interest them. Finally, participants who are engaging in their own research projects will have the opportunity to share their work and exchange ideas and suggestions from supportive colleagues.
There is no obligation to attend all sessions. Signing up will put you on the mailing list and ensure you get a copy of the pre-reading.

James is a Maths teacher at Comberton Village College and has recently completed a Masters in Maths Education at the University of Cambridge.
